The hearts behind the school
Get to know the hearts behind the school: a story of two travelers who found a common purpose in helping others find their voice.
Chapter 1: The Professional Spark
Today, we are an entrepreneurial couple, parents to two beautiful girls and a kitten. 🐾
We met through our work in tourism: at the time, I, Diana, was working for an international tour operator and received a resume from a very interesting, well-traveled professional applying for a tour leader position.
Chapter 2: Beyond the Grammar
Impressed by his vast travel experience, I decided to interview him and hired him for the South American tour leader team. And yes, the interview was in English “I was struck by his ability to communicate and resolve conflicts in a second language. And no, I didn’t notice if he knew every verb tense, nor did I judge his accent.”
Chapter 3: A Journey of the Heart
It wasn’t love at first sight, but mutual admiration. Love blossomed during a vacation in Cuba. Like every good love story, it wasn’t all roses: we had a honeymoon phase, followed by conflicts and a separation.
Chapter 4: The Reunion
In the post-pandemic world, our paths crossed again. With strong personalities, a passion for travel, and a desire to communicate with people from different cultures, we felt the spark to create something bigger.
Chapter 5: Our Shared Mission
That’s how Fast Forward Fluency was born; a school that encourages people to use their voices, reach their goals, and achieve their dreams in the language that connects us globally: English.
Every great project has a heartbeat. Ours began not in a classroom, but on the road. Built on a foundation of shared adventure, resilience, and a deep belief in the power of communication.
